May 10, 2002, Newsletter Issue #64: Create Motion with Your Images

Tip of the Week

Dee calls this technique streaking. It`s effective for creating motion, and can also be used to salvage a poorly laid image, in that, if you do it by accident you can still finish your project by re-interpreting what you want to have happening in your project. For instance, say you accidentally streak or smear a flower. Well, instead of tossing away the image, maybe you can re-envision a card full of flowers blowing in a soft spring breeze.
