Dye ink
Dye inks are water based, quick drying inks. The traditional dye inks are not color-fast and will fade over time. These inks are suitable for use on both matt and gloss cardstock (although they will need longer drying time when used on gloss).

Close To My Heart dye based inks are going to fade. Why is it that nobody seems to realize this or care? When I scrapbook my families memories, I expect them to last. Pigment based inks are formulated to stay colorfast. Why doesn't CTMH tell it's customers about the fact that their inks colors are not going to last?
