If your embossing powder is sticking to your paper in unwanted places you need to use an anti-static pad prior to stamping the image. You can get these from most stamp stores (try ordering direct from the creator of "A Little Bag" - Stampers Touch). When this is wiped across paper it removes the static and fingerprints so that your powder only sticks to the stamped image.
